Hi, I introduced myself back time, but this is my first post.
I did a search in the hole and it doesn't seem to have found anything like this, so I open this thread, if I was wrong, I ask vein.
I immediately come to the point, to me it would be necessary to create a dome for observatory with revit architecture, taking into account that not the mastery yet fully (in the specific one of the einsteinthurm to postdam), starting from the wooden structure, I mean, precisely from the 'cobbles' lignei of support of the dome, as well as all the travicelli and the internal stratifications (for the stratifications I simply thought to make domes

Thank you for your attention.

I don't know the dome, but in general you have to use the family of curved beams.
for the support ribs (from the top to the base of the dome), in a view of prospectus or section draws the "trave curve", (after editing a vertical working plan from a view of plant to be utilised for the design of the structure) and then by a view of duplicate plant with a radial matrix.
for the beams, from the view in the plant, draws the curve beam (circular or two semicircular) to the necessary levels
the cover must be realized with a solid (extrusion on rotation).

it is also possible to use a continuous facade derived from a surface (mass).
