Now, I don't know how the 3d of autocad works (I look at it well) but I think it is on the false rhino line with the various primitive, boleane and loft various.. Am I wrong?

objects like and more complex than this I have always drawn them without problems.
for certain objects, when I still did not have solidworks, I leaned a lot to rhino, in practice I drew and after with the function unroll (store ehhhh) I unrolled the side that interested me.
then with a single size/cuci geometries and I had the figure developed in whole... an epoeia... :biggrin:

I do a search on my hd, if I find a 3dm file place.
I press that in any way in 2d it is possible to draw anything... the only
inconvenience is the time to use.

I don't know if in the new releases of autocad there is the function of thickness.
In case there was the easiest way I think is to build the outer surface of geometry and to thicken it.
try and see if it works.

the process is nothing but create projections of the internal faces by combining everything into a unique figure.
in antiquity there was only the tecnigraph, and for me working at the counter, goniometer, teams, row and point of sign.
Try to develop an open cube on one side and then try with a trapezoidal parallelepiped, when you understand the system you can develop everything.
I attach an image to you, look at the notes in red.
for development, project the faces from the inside and as fulcrum the inner edge of the tray.

nb: the attachments are all 2d drawings, take the cue.

you always start with dismantling the complex figure in various simple forms.
the 3d is not indispensable but helps to have an immediate eyelash of the object
