no you have to complicate life with free styles I meant something like that.

Hi.
I'm sorry, but what's different than the previous one? the fact of copying the profile parallel?
the problem remains: the wing profile is generated by two separate profiles (2 scales for accuracy) and I can extrude or the ecstasy or the intradox but not both because catia gives me a mistake.
I can neither create the intradox/extended surface (and then apply a thickness) nor a prism because it selects a single scale.

How would you do that? Do you have a way to send me a sequence, a video...? ?

Can someone get me to move on?

greetings

Hey, guys.
I try to post hoping in an answer, the forum seems unpopular.
Can you suggest me how to close the wing end?

Is there a way to see where the profile is opened?
I created a unique sketch with more closed curves (the lightenings of the pennies), perhaps for this?

Sounds like a built lone log. . .

Bye. is the command with the lens in the sketchy environment.
Hello :-)

Thank you stef, my hope;)

I have analyzed the sketch and consider me the fittings made as open profiles, if I try to close them I devorm the sketch and tells me that the profile or curve degenerates.. or something.

I have to create holes (the lightenings) on thick surfaces (the centines) percui thought I created the sketch with lightenings (a single sketch), a director and perform a groove, but continues to say that the profile is open, why?

Is there any way to make him consider closed?
If I enlarge it is perfect, there are no other lines or points that are not construction.
What can I do?

From this point of view catia is very pignolo.... if it tells you that the profile is open you just have to analyze (zoomando) the area of interest and proceed to correction. . .
I sometimes try to correct an open profile deforms the lines that form this open space. to block this effect I make right-click on the two lines and choose the option "fixed" in this way lines cannot move from that position. . .
I hope I've explained (securely not well) but if you have any problems, ask that we see what to do

in addition to what is added by the big hairy:finger: I recommend not to do too complex sketches that are difficult to manage.
use perhaps + times the sketch function but with simple forms. it is also + fast to find possible defects.
Hi.

cmq that the sketch is open you see also looking at the unpublished sketch you see black "pallini" where it is opened

I'm almost moved... 3 persons to respond :)
You're kidding me. and you were both clear, both stef and hairy.
But I wanted to show you something: take a look at the sketch attached you will find that entering the analysis and clicking on a side of the perimeter of the future hole of the centin, 7 out of 8 elements are drawn in orange (implied profile - 7 curves) and the eighth element below remains in yellow.

Now I don't understand how it can be opened (I assume that the problem is there) if there are tangence symbols (but I also see concentric circles right on the point of tangency (to understand why).

I think I have enlarged enough to exclude, at least visually a discontinuity.
Is there a sort of connection/union to close the curves?

This time I have been understandable.

I think you didn't zoom enough. There's a discontinuity in those areas that can depend on two causes.

1) the line or circle are not completely extended to the point of tangency and therefore there is a discontinuity between them (see discontinuity only if you zoom very high)

2) the line or the circle are extended beyond the necessary i.e. extend beyond the tangency point
anyway in both cases if you use the wreck command present in the sketch and selecting the line and circle you should solve the problem

p.s. The fact that a few people have responded earlier is due to the fact that they work and don't have time... I often get to know the answer to some questions but I cannot answer for lack of time.. I always repeat that I will do it in the near future but time is always tyrant

in the sketch analysis panel (the one suggested by stef) there is the "close" option.
Try that. alternatively try to erase and remake projections and fillets.

I think he meant the opposite.. .
I am usually not/are so many to answer a question and, above all, promptly as in this case, so I rebound the point of view: between yesterday and today we are many who have little desire to work! ! !
Thanks god is friday!

I meant that "as I have clearly already written" that you are in a few to answer, and clearly being unpopular the forum is normal that there are long times for various reasons.

then if you want to insinuate the fact that personally I have little desire to work well, personally I do not accept the provocation if this wants to be because thanks to God work and family and everything that follows I am already busy enough, but not too much to stop me totally to do what I love: to fly.

If you notice from the posts I often write the night.. only moment of true tranquility (my little guy sleeps, in line of maximum) and on weekends, or as now before going to work.

for enlargement: that placed is not the maximum magnification, I zoomed to the maximum sketch in the point in question but I can not find elements that may belong to the caseistic 1 at least 2.

Then it could be a third case... the green or red line are double... However I think you do first to rebuild the sketch since it seems quite simple

new question:
the lightened centin is a thick surface on which I made a pocket.
Now I should create 4 equal cents (w.1, w.2.,...) but I would like to assign each in a different part.
Can you tell me how I can do this?
