In fact, with light, it's another thing.
I'm convinced we should try with the flaches, because I'm sure they won't let us put the designs out on the terrace!

If I may give you some advice. . .

The question is not so much the high quality of the objective, in this specific case.
Keep in mind that if you want to scan an a4, the average usable resolution (300dpi), it takes about 8megapixel.
goes from if that photographing an a0 with a camera (also half at a time) gives unflattering results.
an a0 would need about 128 megapixels. 12 of the machine would give a result less than 30dpi.

You should take a lot of photos to the single table and then gather them together. the tips are:
- focal length as long as possible - limits the distortion to the edges;
- machine as perpendicular to the photographed area - limits perspect displacement
- flash - eliminates chromatic distortion
- wall hanging sheet - easier to manage than on the ground

after which to equip itself with:
- patience.
- lightroom type program that allows geometric image correction
- program of creations panoramas (eg panorama maker pro that allows the semiautomatic union of many images)


or... much easier... . magic wand st415 scanner portatile You find it here http://www.anthea.it/scanner-portatili.htmland then the photo union program (also does photoshop, however, less accurate but does)

thank you for the advice, but I didn't care so much about the fidelity of the recovery (distortions, chromatic aberrations then passed in the background) as much as the limit of the legibility of the drawings, which is the only thing that serves if the dis. are entirely quoted constructions, if instead we talk about totals that will have to be used to derive particular measures then the speech changes, and a lot; In the second case we will also have to look for more quality and precision in the shooting phase, as you said.

p.s. I will take care of photographing the constraints of the spine. :biggrin:

No. when you can, it's nice to do it

the limit of the legibility of the drawings,

For that I brought you the calculation of the dpi.
200dpi the design begins to deviate towards the limit of readability. at 100 is almost unavailable, you can have difficulty distinguishing a 3 from a 9, a 5 from a 6 and so on.
