I have to create orders, so I usually create an intersection of parallel planes with the surface, I generate curves, I extrude them to give them thickness. Just say.. because I should also make lightenings.
I actually managed to do this but a comparison I don't mind. Moreover the surface is no longer editable or anyway I would like to remove that red color from the surface. .
