integration exel - inventor 2011

I'm colliding with a problem I fear has no solution, at least, I haven't found it yet and I'm losing hope.

The situation is this:
the various ipt and iam files we use in the company are customized iproperty zeppi; designation en, designation en, surface treatment en, surface treatment

fields that for each individual file must be hand-written each time,

My purpose was to automate the process as much as possible.

the idea/hope was to have a table of exel with all names, superficial treatments etc etc. in Italian and English and with some simple search function select the first in a drop-down menu find the translation in another box, all tied to inventor... .

the realization of the exel file was simple rutine, unfortunately I then discovered that the tables of exel that are connected in inventor, can contain only numerical and not text strings.

in any case texts cannot be "flagging" as export parameters. . .

Unfortunately, at this point I have no other system that does not understand programming with vb in which I am denied.

or fear of knowing your answers, but I have opened this discussion in hope that something has escaped me. .

in your set, open the separate components and search/create your custom properties (this procedure you can avoid if in your templates the properties are already present)....read this post

this situation could be resolved by setting the templates correctly, as said by peppe, and automated with ilogic with its windows of choice

if you explain better with some examples I can see feasibility

first of all thanks for the answers,

now, templates already have all iproperty set (see iprop.jpg image)

the procedure suggested by peppe the use already now,

the purpose was to have a database shared with all colleagues, a table exel already compiled with the various descriptions of the object (plate, tree, bracket....) and the relative translations, the original idea was to connect the fields of iproperty to the cells of exel ( attach the file I had created) ;
from the inventor file, I opened the table of exel and in the left drop-down menus (black bold) I chose the name, finish, treatment and closure both these values, and those in English (red bold) were copied in the file iproperty.

I tried to cuff some with ilogic but I didn't get a spider out of the hole.

According to you it is feasible to create a mask with the logics that read the black bold values from the table of exel and allow me to choose the correct wording, therefore you look for the correspondent in English and write the values in iproperty?

You have to pay something, but you solve the problem.

I tried to install ipropwiz, but it doesn't work, the install, at the first opening ask me the folder x the configuration files, it doesn't exist, the creo... the program opens but is empty, it doesn't give me the chance to do anything.. .

I think it would be worth opening a special tread on the possibilities of programming, to many could be interested in creating automatisms x software cad, with ilogic for inventor but also with vb.

I copied the rule from 2012 with which I created it and the 2011 version.
Unfortunately some features are not present on 2011 as the possibility to create a form with all the choices I need.
on 2011 I circumvented the problem with three listbox windows with which to make the choices.
I attach the file "model with rule" and the file "prova.xls" to put in the same folder, if the xls file is placed in a different folder indicate the path within the rule (browswr of the rules, edit rule, see comments).
open the file to activate the rule go in "management" and click in the ilogic group the icon "itrigger".
it is possible to put this command more at your fingertips with customise commands or to associate it with a quick selection key.
in the model there are no voices in Italian, but once the rule has been performed the voices remain loaded in variables with multiple values, in any case by re-executing the rule are again loaded and then updated by the xls file.
once the rule checks in custom properties the values that have updated.
