yesterday I was on the ispeed of mirabilandia, an incredible eight steering wheel. One of the most interesting things is the starting system: Usually these systems have a chain system that drags cars to the highest point of the route and then from that point onwards proceed for gravity.
the ispeed instead starts on the floor: it has a linear electromagnetic motor that makes it accelerate what is enough to pass the first climb of 55 mt to 90° of slope. I read that acceleration is such that it goes from 0 to 100 mkh in 2.2 seconds, and indeed on board the thrust is very remarkable. not suitable for weak heart... .
Does thatcuno plan these devices? are interesting from the technical point of view.
