issue with serial number.

Hello everyone, I previously installed a version of inventor with an incorrect serial number, now even if I uninstalled it and reinstalled by changing the number (inserting the correct number) when I do the activation I remain in memory the serial number inserted the first time.

How can I do that? ?

in xp "c:\documents and settings\all users\dati applications\autodesk\software licenses\" this is the folder where the .dat license files of the installed autodesk products are stored, if you have more than one I recommend you to move them all, start inventor remake the activation procedure, recheck in this folder the name of the generated file and put back in place the others you have moved without the same name.

view has another path, but now I don't remember, I think you have to enter the roaming folder of the user folder, but I don't remember exactly.

I deleted all folder in c: / programdata / licensed software

now I have to reinstall the whole thing??

I didn't find any other files licensed

try to untie and then clean the registry (often the info in the windows register are not erased during the disintallation).

I don't know anything about inventor but often programs write information in:

hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk\inventor

or something like that.

Maybe with one of those tools that clean the registry (ccleaner) you can fix.
