a greeting to all,
I have recently graduated in mechanical engineering (specialized degree) and I have started the job search for a couple of weeks. My first impression unfortunately is negative. I did 4/5 interviews in different agencies and two interviews in companies. both talks did not go well because the first was a no directed the second perhaps I interpret as a no. my questions are addressed to companies that deal with design since my specialization is precisely in design. Now obviously I would like to work for what I studied but since the period I will certainly have to have some flexibility. premise this, on the forum surely there will be many designers engineers, people who have worked for different time and maybe entrepreneurs. especially to these figures I address myself. I am inexperienced and need to be trained but how can I address myself, on what can I leverage to have more chances in finding work? My resume unfortunately has been marked by times for the achievement of long degree. Unfortunately, I had very serious personal problems.
how is this aspect seen from companies? How do human resources assess this aspect? How do you assess this aspect?
Now I can't perceive from the outside how my resume can be evaluated, I can't perceive what are the features that most attract an entrepreneur looking for an engineering figure like mine. I'm sure if I had this perception I would be able to better address my demands. many ask the knowledge of a very fluent English. I have no knowledge of English so wide but if for example I'm sure that developing this feature I'd be able to have real opportunities I'm willing to pack for the land with the purpose of improving my English by doing the first job I can find.
but this means investing more time than maybe not from a real return.... I don't know.
so I will return to all those who know more about me. Every opinion or point of view can help me and why not help those in my own situation.
Thank you.
