I apologize if I resume this old discussion, but just last night I was watching some video tutorials downloaded from the ptc site, including one of these where he showed how to use the imported dxf profiles in annotation to transfer them to the 3d. at some point he shows up on the video a window where you can make the switch between annotation and modeling, instead of pressing on the darts down to the right as I used to do (I'm still learning ...).
