multiplication in table

Good day to all,

I have a memory vacuum, age progresses, I do not remember what is the best system to get the product of two parameters inside a table, I explain better:
in the table of a set I have a table containing some columns with its parameters, two of which are quantity and length, I would need to insert in a new column the total lengths of each component, obtained from their multiplication.

I think you can do it with the table reports.

It's true, but I don't remember the syntax, I basically have to create a new parameter that contains the value I'm interested in inserting in the table.

I found the right syntax for relationships, lungtot=rpt_qty * asm_mbr_lung
but I still couldn't recall the new parameter in the table.

I followed the instructions to create a similar table but I am not returned the lungtot value.
what can depend on?

I entered the formula lungtot=rpt_qty * asm_mbr_lung in the reports of the repetition region and it gives me no error.
