azz .. sorry I didn't notice, I unfortunately have uninstalled the wf3, let's see if someone intervenes that has it.

you checked if in the final part of the wing (the tail collected to interderci) the union did not change the geometry of the wing itself?when I join the chord disappears and the tail becomes acuminata!!! I don't understand! !

the large surface that overlaps in the hole surface of the wing is the wall of the wind tunnel (it is the same thing as previous posts only that I modified the size of the tunnel).
the problem is that when I join (as you explained) disappear the chord in the tail!!!
Bye!

You're in a good mood.

It's not good, man. !
then the starting profile (i.e. the extruded one to create the wing) was created through the Naca equations!!! Now the equations do not close the profile in the tail!
therefore it is necessary to close it!
it can be closed:- when at 90° extradox and intradox
- connecting with a tangent circumference arc
- simply prolonging extradox and extradox! ! !
I need to be connected (the radius of the semicirculation of connection is about 3 mm, but it does automatically pro_e).
the problem is that when I join wing and surface of the gallery, the program cuts the profile (in the file you sent me, if you see, it is prolonged!!!).
I need it! ! !
does anyone have ideas about it?to me does not come! !
arrival to the point of generating wing (recommended queue) and surface, but at the time of union the program "does not do" what I ask, that is, it does not maintain the shape of the profile that overlaps to the surface of the gallery!
Crazy! !
greetings to all
Lorenzo

It's not crazy... it's a matter of precision of the part.
If you have such a large surface and a 3 mm connection, you have to set a less thrust accuracy (higher value).
before merge, set a relative accuracy 0.003 and absolute 0.005 and you will see that it works

I found and actually works!! !
well
I was worried yesterday!!!
Hello and thank you!
Loire

importing the wing into the simulation program is a mistake in the joint between revolution and extrusion!
it is as if the edges did not coincide! there is no "continuity" between extrusion and revolution!
Can someone solve this problem?
ideas about this maxoplus?
is it simply a matter of precision?
Hi.
Lorenzo

ps:I can't attach maxopus!! !

the link is the following of the file
http://www.mediafire.com/?klyn0z2mm2u

in what format do you carry out from proes?
in which format amounts (or can you import) in the simulation program?

Then!
I tried in iges and step!
always the same problem!
this is the updated proe file!
Hi.

ps:as you can see in the file there is an extrusion and a revolution!
the problem is in the sketch section used by the revolution!
there is no correspondence between the edge of extrusion and that of revolution!

You have to act on the simulation program now. geo repair via simulation software or change import tolerances in fem software. If your software is a fem and it matters .stl I can fix it. Otherwise you have to help with who uses cadfix or similar. What simulation program is it? It's all an interchangeable data problem.

hello to all I have a similar problem. I imported points and I have to create a solid. How can I do that? Thank you.

Sorry I didn't explain. I'm working with pro_e to create a non-naked shovel profile of an axial fan. I imported points but I have no idea how to create a solid from four points. I ask you for help because I'm not very expert on pro engineers. Thank you so much. Bye.
