Good evening, everyone.
I look for a discreet notebook x pro/e wf3-4-5.
Can anyone help me?
... I had one of the m70s, he left me a little bit ago.

Thank you all.

There are now desktops that are not bad with 4 or + gb and nvidia card gt240m from 1 gb that maybe is not the optimal but I think it turns well.
more than anything else I would install everything to 64 bits. pro/e included not with view ( xp or better win 7 even if I have not yet tested it)
salut

quoto...
xp 64 bit
4 gb ram
video card nvidia picture

monitor 17" if it is your main machine, 15,4" if you work mainly on a workstation (the 17" is a "bath" not indifferent to carry behind ... recommend only to those who spend many hours in front of the notebook)

thank you so many boys... but I hoped Since now there are many very powerful notebooks, at remarkably low prices, that someone had tried some.
es: acer, asus...

Thanks again...

the brands that I recommend are of or lenovo, in business/professional range

They cost but you find them.

the picture video cards or firegl I recommend only to those who treat large assemblies, as a video card like the hd4570 or hd4650 or geforce 9600m gt hold more than discreetly displaying surfaces/solids of any modeling program.

the ram better if ddr3 and -ormai- particular of not little account.. The hard drive..

seems trivial but today with 100 euros you buy a good solid state disc that lowers or however lima the big bottle neck represented by the 5400rpm mounted "default" on today's notebooks.

link to the ssd drive article:http://www.hwupgrade.it/articoli/st...-40gb-upgrade-a-meno-di-cento-euro_index.htmlps. I have a studio 1555, paid 599 euros. I'm considering buying the kingston..

also mounts an hd4570 ati, medium-low band video card optimized for energy saving.

premitting that I do not draw with more than 20 pieces, you draw very well.

from the level of satisfaction that arises from various interventions in this forum would seem that:
of the first place.
the range of the suit to the cad can be found on this page:http://www1.euro.dell.com/it/it/gra...cnnb/cp.aspx?refid=precnnb&s=pad&cs=rc1084457hp both per second (I have a nw 8440 for 3 years, had a problem and on-site assistance was very good).
the range of the hp suitable for the cad you find on this page:http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/it/it/sm/wf04a/321957-321957-64295-3955549-3955549.html

Wrong. . .
does not focus on the fact of big assemblies, with uncertified graphics cards you can also have problems only at sketch level.
not all modeling programs reason the same way, who buys an uncertified card is at its own risk and danger if the program does not work properly.

greetings

work especially with style surfaces... I was working... so to say that for surfaces does not need a picture is wrong... because you are often forced to model with high quality video.

... I also work with complex surfaces, reverse-motives:-)
But if I do a set it doesn't seem so heavy...

I don't know what to say. no more than a picture fx1700... and in fact with that I worked well. with all other gamers, even high-end (more expensive additive), rearing.

In the meantime, I thank all those x valuable answers.
but, my question was, if someone had, or were using new types of non-certified notebooks.
because, I know of some people in the branch, who use them, and they go discreetly well.
cmq, at my point, I must also explain what happened to me with some, being I believe in the interest of all.
in March 2005, I bought a precision m70, subsequently, I added 1gb of ram.
total cost, € 3.800.
in August 2006 the motherboard, which replaced me as a guarantee, jumped.
a week ago, it turned off again, I did the evidence suggested by the technical support, which told me, that the pc is short.
then, the problem is simple, if the motherboard has jumped, I obviously replace it by paying intervention and spare parts, because now I am out of warranty, (I wait for the quote).
if the video card has jumped, nvidia picture fx 1400 go, it is not possible to replace it because the spare parts are finished...!?
then recapitulating...
March 2005 purchase.
August 2006 replaced mb.
October 2009 replace mb, or video card?
in 4,5 years there are no more spare parts of a machine from almost 4.000 €, but more than anything else I would say that during this time the pc has already guastato 2 times.. . !
According to you... it is not worth asking if it is worth spending all hard sti euri on a pc, which among other things I still have to end up shocking.
I beg, that being a free professional, I am not new to this kind of things, and that in 20 years of experience, of things I have happened so many, but never, I had to, repair for 2 times, or I was there and there to throw a car like this x lack of spare parts...!

thanks again to all for the precious answers.

hi alb, on notebooks not "certified" I have no experiences.
I can tell you that to avoid inconvenience I extend the warranty with hp.
the notebook I use is 3 years old, I also had a few drawbacks but, with the on-site warranty, they are really minimized.
Therefore the advice is: regardless of the machine you will take, subscribe a 3 year warranty on-site and at the expiry of the 3 years, renew it.
you will spend a little more than 100 euros a year but at least you do not find yourself, in case of failure, to have to throw the car.

thanks maxopus, on this we agree.
but .. in this case, even if I had extended the warranty for another 3 years, it would have been useless, since the spare video cards (always, if it is the one that has failed) x this pc are finished; I'd have thrown more money.
In addition, I will tell you that, it seems; it is + likely to jump the video card of the mb (as far as I understood from the technical support).
so if my video card has already + 4.5 years, the question is:
How long will it go ..? ?

Thanks again.

No... they would have been crap.
if there is the warranty they must provide in any case, at the limit you change the machine.

Right.
Unfortunately, having already spent a lot of money, I thought that cmq, was a reliable machine, it is above all that lasted a few years in +.

I really don't know how people can be satisfied with... They spoil too often. I am not even happy with hp, the mobile workstation in company with fx1500 frame of 2/3 years ago underwent 2 replacements of the motherboard, a replacement of the video card and the replacement of rams.

for notebooks unfortunately it is so... if they are powerful they spoil... (in my experience for now only 2 brands are saved).
