....my experience for architectural plastics was made with civil engineering studies which specifically requested me not colored plastics, only white.. .
This is the last broken handed over....the hard part is in managing the native file from revit (180giga) and making it sticky for printing, in fact what no one tells you is that many zcorp presentation models are made with google sketch up ....but no professional designs so!!!! ! ! ! !

...from prismatech they tell me that from April will be available a new material for elite, a translucent ab designed specifically for lighting prototypes, I look forward to!

thanks for the information.
so it was the "objet fullcure® 840 true blue resin."
objets have exciting features for me but extremely depressing prices for me. The only one I could permeter me is objet 24, perhaps obsando a little more than 30, and I who dreamed at least one eden... :frown:

Hi, diego.

ask him also a good skein already that they have the gift of anticipation!

I hope you have what you expect, but stratasys never reveals to anyone what it is about to do before the day it presents the news.
this to avoid stock exchange speculations (they are obliged by law).
so, wait to exult. . .

Hi.

Hello everyone,
yesterday I discovered this great forum and I already read it all.
I'm 33 years old and I'm seriously thinking about getting into the tour, firenze area, the ideas are there but I have to cross them with the harsh reality.
in addition to the uncertainty of being able to break down, there is the ability to settle the debts contracted to leave. . .
I, after a month of study of the sector, still believe, although in reality there is still some dowel on the costs, I have an idea of the prices of the machines and nothing more.
I wanted clarification:
fdms (abs and company) are ideal for robust pieces without a particular refinement of surfaces, but are expensive pieces? is the robustness of the wood blocks?
sla (chalk powders) are ideal for surface rendering, details, printing is faster, but are less rubuste? if it is not robust? Can you do it, I don't know, a pen holder?
is reliable This table What did I find?
Can you buy leasing machines?
the sectors to which the service is addressed are industry, technical studies, goldsmiths and just?
a friend of mine for a thesis in architecture paid a plastic in balsa 500€, war nothing that, you can compete with such price? base size 50x70, the real building will be 8x8x8cm, scale 1:500 if not 1000.
equipping for a clientele excludes being able to provide service to the other?
do you have an idea how many offer the service in Italy? Are we saturated?
Can you print gadgets? if you with what technology is it?
question a little personal: is your only activity or do it as a secondary and you keep with something else?
I want to know if I can turn it off.
Thank you very much, to all those who will respond. from Monday I will start calling the dealers so I will no longer bother you:wink:
Hi.
thank you so much to anyone who will want to answer
Hi.

I like you too are new to the forum (although silent reader for a while)
I'm creating a service startup with a friend of mine who's going to make me commercial.
I think they've all responded to you in an exhaustive way and adhering to their position.
I can tell you, in my little one, how are we moving?
first we are followed by the common-province
then understand the sector where you mainly will do services
study the relevant technologies and fields well
have technical knowledge and some experience, at least in the metalworking industry
contact potential customers but also potential competitors (here in x es:biggrin:) to be able to understand if someone can be interested in a bilateral collaboration , travased with experiences and sharing of basic customers (you will amaze yourself, but at the fair in parma , we went for quotes and what else but we also collected valuable requests of collaboration from companies already started that would be interested in the Piedmont area)
I don't want to be vulgar.
I hope I've been a little help if you want me here.
for all other users I hope to become as soon as possible a vs colleague:mixed:

greetings to all

Lorenzo

Hello, Lorenzo.
thanks for your answer, very useful for me and very interesting.
I've been to parme, a bit of a hurry I have to say, and I met the dealers of objets, sizes and zprints, I didn't have time to talk to those of the projet, instead I didn't talk to prototypizers if not with a stand of engineering plastics but just a couple of comments on their magnificent works. I missed a chance.
However my analysis phase is now over, I have had my offers and I have more or less decided on what machine to guide me. At present my work as a packer is growing and so I am a little distracted but I must establish the next step to do, notary, a visit to the cna where I am already enrolled, give a face to this society and then the great leap.
the sector that I am interested in, in which I feel more prepared is design, so, architecture, nautical (present in my area) and art. by the way I have come into contact with a sculpture workshop (live in carrara) that needs packaging for their works and want to send a stl downstream on which we build the packaging. it had happened two months ago I wouldn't even know what the stl format was, when people say the cases of life!
the problem is that I understand that if for architecture the ideal would be the zprint, for the nautical is preferable the plastic on which then work by hand.
I now think I'm going to start with a lot of caution, follow the ip board, build a customer portfolio and support me at first to third parties for printing.
a couple of questions:
but you start from scratch in this sector or how others have a design studio behind you?
What do you mean by "we are followed by the common-province"?
Thank you and in the meantime, good luck!

Hi.
I start from scratch in the sense that I have no design studio.
I am a mechanical expert who, after years in the field, had been recycled in computer science, now I would like to return to my natural sector.
we are followed by the common-province that we are part of a kind of business incubator.. that help young people create startups
Ip's advice is what we're following as I wrote to you, first you acquire customers, and you're leaning on existing studies, then you start doing it yourself.

Bye!

Lorenzo

Hello, everyone.
I also ended up on this discussion through a research of prototyping, in the sense of activity to be started, as gattaiolate.
my perplexities were/are his: an activity that would start from scratch and not clear, in my case, understanding the feasibility of the project.
my idea is approximately that of gattaiolate, that is, prototyping more time to design and aesthetics rather than pure mechanics; In fact the idea came to me after the discovery of the zprinter printers, with which, like others, I fantasized about the use of this particular technology in a market niche that is completely detached from prototyping as it was known until a few years ago.
I then have even more narrowed the niche, limiting my idea to the ludic sector mainly.
I believe that I have committed "the error" (I have not yet put into practice anything) that I thought it would be enough to know this unique technology to feel experienced in the new activity to start, discarding other basic information and knowledge to be able to offer a service if necessary wider than what you had set yourself up.
I am trying to gain experience and knowledge in the field and then, with clearer ideas, assess the feasibility of the thing.
my idea was to support existing structures, although I think I understand that in Italy there are not so many companies that have equipped themselves with printers of the zprinter line. .
Greetings, Caesar.

even if it seems to me to understand that in Italy there are not many companies that have equipped themselves with printers of the line zprinter.. .
Greetings, Caesar.
on this I can say you're wrong
The prototypal sector is quite vast, as long as you're out of it you don't know many companies that do this kind of work and so you're led to think that you're space, when you learn that as in all sectors there are more companies that do this job than you have previously thought.

Therefore, especially these times, the advice is precisely to weigh well the choices

Yes, from outside, you probably can't drink to understand the vastness of the offer.
my conclusion comes from the fact that looking in the portfolio on service rp sites, in few of these I found products created with powder technology and inkjet, because such objects recognize them, from the particular use of colors.
In any case, as you have rightly pointed out, the main problem is not who can produce the object, which basically finds it, but understand well what you want to do and understand if the niche to which myri is profitable.
good work to all!!! :
Cesare.

I sell a desktop envisiontec, great for the field goldsmith(and in firenze di orafi there are many...) and for the small but precise pieces.
has so many advantages, the only handicap could be the size of the working area(4x3x10cm).
if interested my mail is info@vincidesign.it

Hello, diego, apparently prismatech this time did he make cilecca??

or do we have new news?

hello paolo, it looks like you... everything quiet, maybe for decency...cmq can't wait I'm collaborating with a company that has fortus and I'm also happy! !

Next!

Think about it. but very much... .
The posts I have read are very sincere and photograph the reality, economic, in which we live.
by experience with a server I do not go ahead, lacks a 360-degree view of how to invest in this sector.
for 360-degree vision, understanding a synergy of more types of investment, but is missing in different Italian sectors.
I personally made the mistake of relying on my own strength and ability.
I realized this error was too late to go back, and more disliked no one was more willing to follow me.
there are many servers in Italy, and also public entities that offer unbeatable prices even for a small company.
for other clarifications and suggestions are available

according to you in Italy could not exist a service type shapeways, ponoko or sculpteo? ?
a structure fully turned to private, in short, with a lot of possibility of buying items? ?
Cesare.

I think it takes a lot of courage even to think of something like that, I know well the reality of shapeways and sincerely I see it very hard here from us unless I take advantage of everything that exists at start-up level, European funds, etc.etc.
in any case these businesses work internationally, only local would be an economic suicide. my2cent.

Of course, I agree with you that you cannot think of an activity of this type "limiting it" to Italy... .
It seemed just strange, but certainly lack of experience and thorough knowledge about our realities, that no one had tried to transform (more easy than to create from scratch) an existing service, therefore with already a different machine park, in a structure open to the end user.
definitely shapeways is a somewhat unequal comparison, given its size and its position on the market, but something smaller I would see it possible here from us too.
among other things I seem to have read, in a discussion on this forum, that someone wanted to "convert" their service in an activity turn more private than a service more for companies.
Cesare.

Perhaps because in the end there is no one who wants to risk with the consumer market and in part I understand it. there are however two fundamental factors that determine the success: a competitive price and online quotes in real time, everything else is details.
