Bye.
I would like to insert a superimposed window and inside another one in the layout to show the details in different scale (type magnifying glass) only that I can't make it opaque, always appears the image contained in that below. How can I do that? Thank you.

No, I just want two overlapping windows where the one above hides paret of the one below so that the contents of the one above does not confuse with the one below.
Thank you.

as you see in the attachment I would like to see in the large circle window, the enlargement of the small one without seeing the drawing of the main window.

Bye.
I'm sorry, it's not clear to me if you mean that it doesn't appear just what's under the circle, or if it doesn't have to appear anything that appears in the bottom part.

Hi.
must not appear all that is under the circle; I should see in the circle only what belongs to the "circle" window.

Thank you.

draws a circle of the same size of the window and retinalo with a white solid dash, paying attention to position it above the design but under the window

Thanks, the idea is smart and smart.
Unfortunately I had already tried but the restraint in the layout is always transparent.
Hi.

then do so: the main window creates it from a region object created by a rectangle and the subtraction of the circle, then create the second circular window inside the hole of the region

Good morning,

actually works even if it is not flexible because the window created with the region does not seem changeable, for example to move the circle.

waiting for a more flexible solution I use your suggestion, if then something else comes.. .

Thank you.

Bye.
I would have solved the problem in the following way (a little lugo and farraginous but effective):
1) in the model space creates a "view with name" of the detail you want to enlarge;
2) in the model space draws the radius circle r and erases everything that appears below it (which beard);
3) in the paper space draws a circle of the same radius (if you do not accept the numerical value choose a reference osnap;
4) from the command "windows" --> "window object" --> click on the circle, will appear all or part of the model;
5) double click inside the circle to select the window;
6) from "view--> views by name" activates the view of the detail and assigns the scale you prefer.
I attach the example I have made to make your request possible.
Good job.

there would be a third method, more practical and flexible.
for convenience you initially draw the layout window with a single polyline (inside circle and outside pane). the inner circle to include it as polylinea you will design it with two arches.
then you draw a polygonal window by recalculating the previous polylinea (use the arc function to recalcate the previous arch with polylinear entity).
so you got the window "outside" laundry.
just draw a circle and turn it into a window.
longer to explain than to do.. .
I hope I've been clear.

Thank you, I think it's the least complicated way, even if you expect to know from the beginning how many details and where to insert them.
possible that a program as autocad does not preview to overlap two windows? ? ?

anyway thanks for the participation.

Bye. I'd like to know if the job I sent you came back for you or was to be sold out. I'm interested in it since it cost me time to get there and who writes is not a professional but an amateur. I'm sorry, but I don't want to go into the absolute way, it's just curiosity. I wish you and all the friends of the forum a good evening.
