I am trying to insert architectural pillars, I define the procedure I used:

I open a new family / I choose generic metric model / I insert a reference from the cad for the base / extrusion-solid and "lucid" my irregular wall starting from a vertex that I remain made coincide with the point of origin of the family itself / closed the contour end the operation and in prospectus the rise of what I need / extrusion-e and design the openings in plant and raised /

Now the pillar merges with the system wall but I have several problems:

1- In the plant the stratigraphy is not perfect remains the trace of the outer layer of the system wall inside the architectural pillar, if I move the exterior finishes of the system wall inside the nucleus the finish extends irregularly towards the edge of the architectural pillar, in short I can not manage it. .

2- in the 3d the right side of the architectural pillar does not inherit the material of the built-in system wall, I tried to change also from objects styles but the pillar seems to remain in concrete even if I change the material, besides remain visible the joints between system wall and pillar. In short, the only material visible in 3d and rendering is that of the open side of the system wall. How to do that?

3- Once this holy irregular wall or with variable thickness in the plant, will it be possible to combine the normal walls of regular system that touch it? will it be possible to control the surface of the architectural pillar ("extrusion"-"painting"-"divid")? Will it be possible to connect ceilings turned on the side of the architectural pillar?
