What you wrote is great.If you want to set up a complete system of high-level plm, you can't think of getting away with 2 money.
If you want to pass only the licenses cad to the wf5 the policy of discounts there is. I requested an offer to my trusted var and if I passed to the wf5 I would save a lot of money compared to unpaid maintenance (if I had continued to pay for it).
Try to do the same thing with a cat or nx and then let me know how much money they ask you.
semmai problems are other (and common to all software houses) and that is to allow customers to choose between two types of maintenance, one for the simple renewal of the software and the other including also of the online service part.
For example in my case, after years of pro/e, I no longer need online assistance and would like to pay only the update of the software paying a 50% of the maintenance fee and instead this is not possible with any software.
I just say that honestly 10k € for installing and migrating data to the new software seem excessive, without counting the maintenance fee of course.
