I think it is simply the application of a load that increases incrementally and the calculation of a coefficient that describes the behavior of the system (in practice stiffness?). if the problem is this is solved easily

here is the model; I have to do a non-linear analysis I have difficulty as it is a masonry building where I do not have rigid soles I only have beams and whims of cover. .They are more total chaos!!!(for buildings in ca with the sap I inserted in the diafram floors and then in the center I introduced horizontal loads)
