Good morning to all,
I write you as a complete neophyte of the world of modeling 3d. I hope that this is the right section and if I was wrong I immediately apologize, but it is a question of transversal discussion that I did not know where to place.
then I take care of the realization of small gardens.
I have always worked "on the field", using exclusively autocad for design 2d and any sections.
but now I would like to try to make the next step and start to understand a little more also of 3d modeling, so as to make even the works more appealing for the customer.
But I leave from 0.
I have given an eye to sketchup guides, and I started to take some confidence with the sw, starting from an imported dwg, but in the management of materials and components it seems a bit 'cooled and unprofessional (or at least not professional enough to be presentable.
Also it is not clear to me, once I created all the scene as I carry it?
I have read that there are engines to render, but it is not clear to me what they serve and how they work.
I swear to you, I tried to get an idea, even banging our heads, but around there is a myriad of information that often presupposes knowledge that I do not currently have.
for example I read other sw like 3ds max, 4d cinema, archicad, civil 3d, and others....
do the same sketchup stuff? What differences are there between them?
I think I've made you realize that I'm a total niubbo on the subject, I'm right at level 0.
thanks to anyone who will take the trouble to answer me.
See you soon!
