set a directory for .bak files

Hi, I read a lot of your arguments and I realized how much I'm dismembered. :frown: in the folders where work you automatically create the "miracle" file in .bak. I find them extremely hateful when I work in a folder with multiple autocad files.

if on the folder you want to see them separated just click on type... so it would also be very easy to move or delete them.

no, the .bak is saved in the same position as the new dwg, but if it bothers you, you can follow the roberto board and uncheck the creation of backup copies in options\open and save.

I don't have windows 7, I don't know if the log paths are the same (but I assume you).
But it is not a complicated or dangerous change... Maybe do a backup copy of the log first.

I'm also looking for a way to send all the bak files to the same directory.. I tried looking for this file but I don't have it. I use autocad 2013. Do you have any idea how I could do that? Thank you.
