once you create your keypoints and lines, define the real constants beam144 and the material. at this point to create your sections.

Hello I have a problem being at first arms with ansys. I have to do a modal analysis of a complex system, consisting also of cables that cross a hole. Usage workbench
the problem is that in the response of modal analysis, the deformed of the cable penetrates into the body containing the hole through which the cable must pass. or better the cable is not confined to the hole but goes beyond entering the solid that contains the hole.
How can I solve this problem? Do I have to enter a contact? or is there any option to "make the cable understand" that must remain in the hole?

I have another problem, though of a different nature. By setting the use of the video card in the product launcher (3d), obviously in displaying my computer goes much smoother. the inconvenience is that when I then capture image, it gives me everything black and only the writing ansys.
