Hello, I have a problem with the autocad blocks.I am in the design environment(.dwg) of inventor and I have inserted a block of autocad,I would like this block however could be bound to other things in the design.I better explain:I have a plant and I would like to bind the building(autocad block) to a precise point of the plant but I can not do it,any knows how to tell me how to proceed? Thank you.

I would put autocad block in a sketch in the model and I can bind them precisely with what I need.

After that, in the design environment I would go to see also the above sketch.

I have done it, but I think it is even more hanging the axieme that already by itself is not light, however there must be a way to bind it directly in the design environment, I don't think it can travel "in the universe" without a criterion.
Thank you.

Then, if the sketch of the building is a permanent thing where you go to insert the view of your plant, you can bind the block to the edge by editing it, or choose the view that interests you, do a sketch on that, you will project the geometries of the case, then insert and restrain your block.
I don't know if it's possible.

I forgot to point out that I wrote it in idw environment with inventor.
Otherwise open the inventor's dwg with autocad, insert the lock and place it with snap and push-wheel commands.. .

it was what I tried to do, but when I do a sketch on any view it does not make me insert the block, in the sense that inserting the mouth is avulsed by the sketch, then I have two entities that you cannot tie between them. It seems as if the block cannot be inserted into the sketch and then after I no longer have references to bind it to something.
If instead I do a sketch and insert the dwg with the acad command then I have a quantity of lines and infinite points that I must first bind to each other and then to the view, besides the fact that the pc is slowing me fearfully.

azz, you're right, I didn't notice that by inserting a dwg with a block, this is actually exploded during the insertion, even the option "from autocad block to inventor block is not active.
I don't know. .

I will try to solve it in another way at this point... thank you anyway, very kind! !
