weight management

Hello procatug.. .
you could have left your message:

"and that's what it's also for. .be parametric means having all the operations in the part navigator and not cutting the legs with operations that eliminate the parameters (it also happened with the divide curves)...but I see that offending has become the national sport. . .Lastly we are showing some combination of commands even to personal siemens... . "

(if you took it from you)
I'm not offended.
the join operator is parametric and makes a smooth curves, if used correctly.
Of course, it costs a minimum of effort to understand how to set tolerance in the individual case.
... and it's hard to understand whether it's the case of inserting it or not.

on the fact of teaching also to staff siemens:
1) depends on who you are
2) there is always to learn in life... I could teach a fiat designer how to better realize the inner couple of a car... ;)
I took it off because it didn't seem like a balanced but hysterical answer and daughter of the current summer heat... and it was ot. hello!

but not...
You don't even have to think I can take it... discussion is forum juice.
However join is parametric...
ps. today we have morphato (we) on 940... a triumph. :finger:

join is parametric but the join option present in the extract curves (now composite curves) doesn't warn you if the join is unable to do it ( ask db!!) and if you want to control the verse you just have to uncheck/check....

ps: I hope the echoes of the triumph come here too....:finger:

Hello again,
after we have been confident in weights and measures, we return to bomb.
siemens answer to my automatic call request in the cartiglio pattern in the master model drafting of some attributes of the part was the following (we talk April-May):

attributes that could be added as annotation text are:
<w@$sh_sheet_number> number of the current sheet
<w@$sh_number_of_sheets> number of sheets in the current part
<w@$sh_sheet_scale_numerator> numerator of the sheet scale
<w@$sh_sheet_scale_denominator> nomer of the sheet stairs
<w@$sh_sheet_size> size of the current sheet
<w@$sh_sheet_units> units of the current sheet
<w@$sh_sheet_projection_angle> projection angle symbol of current sheet
<w@$sh_master_part_name> master model drawing sheet part name
<w@$sh_part_name> sheet part

2) the system part attributes:
$area
$
$component_name
$font
$layer
$200
$
$name
$_part_name
$part_name_core
$part_name_version
$ref_set_name
$volume
$width

can be used in part list but not as annotation text.

i have just looked at this with jacob and frank, in nx8 there are some improvements for $area, $mass, $volume

Now I have no idea if in nx8 there will be the possibility of extracting a form attribute <w@$sh_master_part_mass> and therefore readable by the master model or whether or not it will be <w@$mass> and therefore not readable from drafting in master model (I hope to be explained).
Now I can't wait in September to see if the 'improvements' do to my case or not.
the problem however is to have in the cartiglio the weights of the single piece (in the case of single part) and of the assieme in the case, of course together.
Suggested procedures (user nx e.g. with body measurements as last feature) do not seem to do to my case because it is different parameters in part and together and therefore not recallable by a same annotation.

other tips?

I thank all for the data suggestions and for any future ones.</w@$mass></w@$sh_master_part_mass></w@$sh_part_name></w@$sh_master_part_name></w@$sh_sheet_projection_angle></w@$sh_sheet_units></w@$sh_sheet_size></w@$sh_sheet_scale_denominator></w@$sh_sheet_scale_numerator></w@$sh_number_of_sheets></w@$sh_sheet_number>

in nx8 they introduced a sync mechanism between attrbuti and properties.. .
Wait for that and you'll see what he's doing for you.

the composite, as it was thought, does nothing but group the curves between them... If they are detached of a meter, it doesn't fit. .
It's not a mistake.
That's it.
the curve from curve / join instead makes just a smooth operation of the curves that you select.
if the regeneration makes the curves not + tangents, fails.
I use everything to spy on... if you put an angle tolerance sufficiently high it also makes from "smooth curves", smoothing the curves with space until the value you impose.

The echo? for now we keep it for us of the zimenz...
the real battle has yet to begin.

with nx8 you will have the possibility to create a custom properties with the name you like, type 'weight' to mean us and in the drop-down menu of the value choose the variable 'mass'.
You know what to do at the table.

ah... of course (and only for the pieces parts) you can put in the cartiglio a "part list" containing only mass and synchronize that.. .
for assembly, unfortunately, already tried, does not work.

if you want to see the weight in the part list, just add a column with the syntax <w$=@$mass>.</w$=@$mass>
Could someone please explain to me the commands to do this?
I can get a part list of 3 columns (sequential, component name, number of components with that name present), add an empty column but I can't make sure that this brings me back for each component the $mass attribute.

thanks in advance

select the column, right mouse button, style and then go put the attribute that interests you from the menu in image.
Hi.

Okay done!
However, the masses of objects do not appear.
At this point I have a doubt: is this mass attribute calculated only if you assign the material or even if you assign the density to the part?

You must have an advanced assembly license.
try to go to file>properties> and see if in the mass curtain you find something written.

Damn it! I understood that in this way you could get even without having the advanced license which, of course, I do not have.
sin!
we wait 8 then... thank you very much for the help!

as confirmed by matrix, nx8 does not support the 'weight' property of a set.
It is necessary to open an er that I have already provided for.
if you open some others, they will surely implement it.

I shall draw up the text :
short desc: weight management enhancement request

problem text:
i ask that weight management be enhanced to support simblies in the same manner in which individual components are handled.

Drafting annotation.

kind xxxxxx,

his recent call to the global technical access center, open the
09-may-2011 as incident report ir number 1847272 was taken in
examination by our gtac software analysts. analysts have established that
this open signal as a problem is actually a request for
improvement to current software features.

this ir has been transformed into a request for improvement (er-enhancement
request) on 10-may-2011 and is now defined as er number 1847272.
is currently open for review.

as you see we are asking more or less the same with different words.

I met the drafting pm and asked him. .
of course, more xxxxxx of xxxxxx, rebounds the responsibilities on those of the modeling/assembly. . .

right these days we are going from tc3+nx6 to tc5+nx8.
we have prepared the machines with nx8 native, and in a few days will be copied the volumes between the two pdms.
one of the great expectations of the passage was precisely not to have third-party customizations for compiling files / tolerances h7 / weights components and assemblies.
for carts and related attributes the novelties seem very good, the values lists are very simple to use and replace the previous customizations.
Also the tolerances with h7 quality fully integrated in the style of the quota are well made.Unfortunately on the weight instead there seems to be the hole of the weight component / weight together.is there a workaround or is it necessary for a customization, that goes to valorize the $mass attribute with the weight of the assieme?
Has anyone solved the problem yet?

I've been there and there are some problems I'd like to inform you. send me to pm your email.

Why don't you take part in the problems of a certain migration?
at the bottom is the spirit of the forum or wrong !!!
