(autosez 2) soil sections and profiles - automatic extraction

Hi, I just downloaded your lisp, it is very helpful and done very well, congratulations.
I wanted to ask you a few things:
is it possible to make him put the picks at predetermined distances (e.g. 10 - 100- 1000m), but without eliminating the intermediate points?
if there is a summit of a polylinea that happens in the middle of 2 3d polylinees of a batimetry, does not put the quota, why? Can't you interpolate?
x now is everything, thanks and still compliments
Thank you.

the lisp inserts the spikes according to the vertices to be quoted, to insert them to predefinite distances you must unfortunately operate "hand".

for the second question I have not understood what function of autosez use, but keep in mind that the share of a vertex of a track polyline is surely identifiable only on a plane (3dfaces).
in the example of the image you can observe two cases with the same distance "abc" between two level curves, but the quotas of the "b" vertices are clearly different.

Hello, everyone. I am trying to use autosez_2 to make sections on a dtm created by 3d face. I have 2 problems to solve:
1)When I create the section the application automatically chooses the direction to which to create the section. Can you change? in practice I need a mirrored section compared to what the application creates. I tried to turn the dtm but nothing done.
2)The dtm is made up of many faces. when I create the section the texts in the cartiglio overlap and are not readable. I tried to filter the stances by putting 1m (it would be good for me): the texts do not overlap but the section does not conform to the dtm as the application does not take all the points of the faces but only those at 1 meter away. Is there any way to get a conform section but to have a listed cartilage with partial distances over the meter?
I hope I've been clear
Thank you.

...when I create the section the application automatically chooses the direction to which to create the section. . .
from the help:"the location of the selection point affects the design direction of the profile, then select to the extreme of the line to which you want to assign the start. "

This last aspect is not possible, the alternatives are:
1) change scale, so as to reduce the height of the texts
2) remove the candles and texts you do not like and complete the cartilage with the utility "partial instances"

in addition to the gp solutions I propose another:

1 creates the profile as usual
2 simplifies the profile polyline according to your needs by removing unnecessary vertices
3 generates a new profile starting from polylinea 2d (obviously with the data obtained from the first)

in this way you save manual corrections if they are many

hi:rolleyes:

Okay, thank you all. for the direction of the section after several tentatives I managed to understand it:)
As for question 2, I will opt for answer 3 of antoniman who for my case is the fastest! !

hi to everyone, I'm still trying to mount the lips but I didn't understand in what folder of options - file I have to place the autosez folder, someone can help me?

for jack100387
the autosez folder you can place it wherever you want, as long as in the autocad options, to the file card, enter the exact path
Hi.

Hello, everyone.
It's the first message and I'm a little excited.

I am trying to autosez 2 and I have to say that I find it a great utility.

I would like if I could help my problem.
when I create a section of the soil from a polylinea autosez creates it very well, but is there a way to charge it 2 at the same time and have a calculation of the excavation and reporto areas?

We normally use a specially created software, but all the coordinates of the section points must be inserted by hand and is really stressful.

If anyone had any other solution, I'd be grateful.
Hello, everyone! !

autosez is a program to create "profiles" more than "sections", as you've noticed from the cartiglio, that doesn't take that with the help of other lisp can do what you want, in your case:

1-crei sez of the soil with autosez
2-signs on the sez a polyline corresponding to the project section to the desired quota
3- with the help of an external lisp (there are many) calculations areas

I recommend you install cadtools, it contains a lot of lisp that could do to your case, so much to give you an example, I with cadtools and autosez create profiles of the bows of the toc (trivellations horizontal teleguidate).
greetings

thanks for the quick answer,
In fact, it is not very much what I ask, if I drew above the layer of the relief a design polyline, the fincatures of the relief would not be updated with those of the project, the fact then to calculate the excavation area is risolvidile with qulache lisp.
However it would be nice that in the autosez window adding a button, ask for the insertion of a second polyline, and under the three important fincatures add another 3 of the project.
I have also tried to overlay 2 sections, one with the lowest reference share of 6 units so that I stand perfectly below the other, but the writings of "section" those of the reference quota and all the candles overlap to the other numbers of the first section, and cut all the rows erase the writings in addition to the "project" and "important" fincatures is a boring thing especially if you have to do 100 or 200.

Now I try to find a lisp that makes me this calculation, see if I find anything.

Thanks for now

this procedure I thought can come back comfortable

These are 2 polylines depicting the sez. current ditch and project
80017766.webpwith standard settings I create the current status section

60526217.webpwith the settings so changed add those of the project status

and this is the most acceptable result....... if you could then do with a single passage all in the first window; )
57460071.webpThese in red are changes I make manually, if the lisp automatically creates them would be a great thing.
30574982.webpfor those who design roads or were and use the method of stranded sections would be a programmon

I know that I just got to the forum and I already break...

who designs roads, if he does not want grains, uses a specific software not a lisp (although really well done to be free!). remember that it is not only a commercial find the saying "who spends less spends less". if you can turn a lisp means you have at least one autocad; from autocad to autocad civil 3d it is a minimum expense that with the first job you already repay.

Your reasoning doesn't make a wrinkle, but for what I have to do, I assure you that I would prefer a lisp like this.
I do not plan roads but I deal with creeks and rivers, software like civilization already we have, we use leonard, with which we work on quotated planes and in theory we could also design roads.
This software already allows us to make sections as I would need with all calculations, there is a but... they work with dyes and they must also be nice detailed to have satisfactory results, often to beat enough points to make a good model is impossible so only the sections where you can access are detected.
This lisp also works with polylinese and if it calculates the areas that I highlighted in the last image above it would be great.
all the volumes that calculate the other programs, I do not need because all the areas then I put them in primus to make the computs and I make to him calculations of the volumes.
I'm sorry if I made it a little long, but it was just to explain that a better software is not said to be the most suitable for everyone.

Of course, you're totally right, but since you mentioned the design of roads...

I would love to use civilization but work in a p.a. and use means that give me or those that do not have a cost

but not even autocad at that point. . .

pass from autocad to autocad civil 3d it is a minimum expense that with the first job you already repay.
is true in part the spending from autocad to civil is minimal, but civil is a Mr. program and not enough DIY, the learning curve can be steep (and this is seen from the comments in the forums in which we talk about civilization) so it is not enough to have civilization, but you have to do a course on civilization that even if not obligatory is strongly recommended, then the expense of how light would it look? ?
contain shopping if one knows English there are excellent manuals with authors of the type richard graham, luisa holland, or james wedding, scott mceachorn, but in any way nothing can replace a well done course.

cost?? of the course? ?
