One of the characteristics that has distinct solidworks compared to other programs in the same range is the renewal policy of the subscription.
until today, you could exit the maintenance program and then return by paying a fee of 500 euros per license.
a few days ago, my salesman contacted me saying that starting next year this policy would change, and that solidworks would require for a maintenance return payment of all backward monthly payments. aligning more or less to competing software houses.
I would like to know if you too have given the same information and what you think of this negative change of commercial policy.
I personally don't exploit assistance, but only updates, and I find that updating every two years is more than enough, this policy here is very contrary.
