in the post #96 you said it would erase me only min-00158_mon and pos162h18_mon? Would you still erase me only copies not the originals, would you?

If you kindly answer me to the last post, the #101, then tell me how the zipped file solves the problem, because I have no idea and then for today we close it here, because for me to understand these references is much more difficult than to give exams at the university. .

if min-00158_mon is only in the copy folder (mount) while in the original folder it is called min-00158 if you delete the first as it does to delete the second that has a different name?

Just make a try: do you have a pc at home?
I attach 2 folders containing files
in the original folder there is only one file that is called min-00158 (it is an absolutely harmless text file)
in the copy folder there are 2 files: one is called as the previous min-00158 and another is called min-00158_mon
delete both files from the copy folder and you will see that in the original folder is still in place
are not solidworks files, but the principle of deletion of a file from the window caresses is the same; a file deleted from a folder cannot be deleted at the same time a different folder

If it's called by different name, it's obvious that I only erase one, it considers them different files... even if they're the same.

If the two that are called the same were in the same folder and I delete one... you delete the other too?

those mentioned are present in the mounting carella, those in the original carella are called equal?
If the two that are called the same were in the same folder and I delete one... you delete the other too?
I can't have two files with the same extension they call in the same way.
to understand, there will never be two min-00158_mon.sldasm files in the same folder.
if they have the same name outside can be equal but also different
is not what you are talking about, but files with the same name in different folders

ok the first part...but the files that are called the same in two different folders derive one from the other? I know

Are you taking me for the cu7o?
You say
If it's called by different name, it's obvious that I only erase one, it considers them different files... even if they're the same.
Then
Okay the first part.. .
which means, by interpreting why you are not able to respond without making turn of words and subtlety, that the file in the assembly folder is called min-00158_mon while the one in the ortiginal folder is called differently, perhaps min-00158.
so so far all'sta manfrina of the gate the file from a folder but I'm afraid that you delete it in the other one was also a perculate.

And finally you come out with this phrase
but the files that are called equal in two different folders come from each other?
osando also put as final
And should I know? Did I work with your files? *
Wait till someone else gets to solve your problem, I already threw away too many hours

*the capital is deliberately desired

I'm sorry, but do you think I've been here talking for hours trying to make me understand with the purpose of taking you for the melts? I have nothing else to do? I enjoy myself so instead of listening to music or making my own.. I've been trying to understand and make myself understand to get a result... with patience... it's just that he's confused after hours of concentration... if then I irritate you what I am... I'm sorry. . I was born like this... but I have the right to live until I do it... I'm sure it's all easy for you... for me, you're tired, I say thank you for what you resisted. . .

within the discussion premitting that I do not know anything about solidworks, but it does not matter.
some considerations (in part already explicit, but perhaps not understood - excuse if I repeat some of your massive concepts):
- every time we talk about "windows explorer", we mean "management resources", that is "the place" where you see the folders and files, and where they copy, move, delete, rename. there is on all computers, and in windows it is called resource management
- in the same folder there cannot be two identical files, is the operating system to prevent it (then how could it distinguish them?? ? ? )
- in two different folders there may be two identical files. the operating system recognizes them because they are placed in two different folders. in 15 different folders, there may be 15 identical copies of a file (file that can be a photo, document, audio file or file generated by solidworks)
- in any operating system, including windows, if you delete a file from a folder, the other possible 14 identical copies placed in other 14 folders are not deleted, unless explicitly undelete copies
- in any operating system, including windows, if a file is "in use", or is open in a program, this cannot be deleted. can be deleted the identical copy, placed in another folder, but not open in the program

I think someone who uses the pc should know about it.
genesis, in light of the above reiterated, read the indications you have been and maybe you will understand the procedures you have been given.

Another thing: if you try to reread your posts, I'm often confused, as sometimes happens to other users...."The file that generated me and that I copied in the folder if I delete it from the folder then disappear the file also in the other folder?" is an incomprehensible phrase for those who read. nb: I did not quote you literally, but it was to make you understand what I mean. who reads does not know at any time what file, operation, folder or environment (windows or program) you are thinking.

When you write a post try to read it again and ask yourself: if you read it one who just arrived here, do you understand? Is everything clear?! but not with your meter of judgment, but with that of one who has just landed on the earth;);)

I'm sorry if I broke up, but the thread was almost kafkiano :d

last night when I was told the last things I had to understand those before, and I was tired
@genesis1975if you are mentally tired you stop, you do anything else or you go to rest and you do not continue to ask questions and to ask for answers that at that time you cannot metabolize

Sorry but now I'm home and I don't have windows explorer....if you want to answer me for now answer the post #85 and #86
Post#102
if you kindly answer me to the last post, the #101
Since you've never made it learn to quote messages (select the text and you've got an icon like that of the image or directly press the consideration below right) and the phrases you respond to so that you can make it clear to what you're referring to and then don't equire your answers and if you forget to fully formulate a post edit it (you have 15 minutes to do so) and don't write others without indicating that they are the continuation of the previous one.

Excuse me if I interfere.
but from "outside" it seems to me that the difficulties of genesis1975 are significant.
I genesis would recommend you to create two new assemblies with few invented components (so that you can share it on the forum, you also need simple cubes, parallelepipeds and very simple things to model) structured like those with which you have problems.
on those then we can do the tests (and if something even goes wrong little matter) and when you understand well behavior with those you can pass to your real assemblies

Well luckily I haven't done any damage in the pc at work and I have everything under control...for the moment... I try to stay on the simple and when "hook" something that doesn't convince me, I don't do "dangerous" operations and I ask...unfortunately I'm alone in the office and so I never could ask at the workplace to colleagues. I've never been a "master" of skill in computer science unlike other subjects both in high school and college where I always had high grades... it's a bit my weak point, I know... slowly we make it.
