hi to all, I have a small problem, I have to make some funnels of about 3 mm deep, rectangular shape (10mmx5mm) on a cylinder thickness 1.5 mm with diameter 130 mm high 30 mm. I hope to have been clear, by the way I use nx 6 in Italian. thank you all in advance for the solution.... hello

Is this cylinder a closed or wrapped pipe?

hi, it is an extrusion of a circle of diameter 130 mm high 30 mm with thickness 1.5 mm. (it's practically a pipe cut).

no, it is a cylinder with various shapes (made with lathe to plate), which then we put in the press and with a mold we make these funnels.

In this case you must use the 'solid punch' command.

hi, before finding the solution I told you before, I tried to do it with the command you suggested to me (I have nx in Italian and the command is called "solid punching") but I couldn't do it, in my opinion it is possible to do it only on flat surfaces and not curved as in my case it has to be made on a cylinder..... or maybe I'm not able to find the right way... but if you tell me that it's possible to do it on a cylinder I try to make other checks.... thanks again...

Yes, actually tc/nx are to be upgraded************ in the same step.
nx7.5 is supported only by "unified" type tcs. .
I do not remember your (which is tc express) to which it was aligned.
