hello to everyone, in my office I am the only one who uses 2012 because 2011 did not leave me anymore, but now the files that I do nobody can open them.

Are you using 2011 in the office and nobody knows?
when you save with a rel. top a file of the rel. previous, it also tells you that you cannot reopen it with the original rel.
a good rule, even when 2012 will be available for everyone, is not to pass immediately to the new rel.
often the fresh program has problems and, if you are in the middle of a shop, you know that enjoyment can not work on it.
personally the start of the new rel. I do it only when I feel around that everything is fine, that the problems are overcome (the forum also serves this ), I often wait also the sp1, anyway never if my client is not aligned.
I kept rel. 11 (not 2011) installed until January because my client had no more updated.
other thing, 2011 did not leave on a car with how many rel. At the same time?
to me 2011, with 2009 and 11 on the same pc, it only started in second line, I launched 2009 or 11 and then 2011, otherwise the initial window was opened, nothing active even in the task manager.
since I took the two rel. I've had no problem.

reading this page is announced the possibility of having the free upgrade (for customers under sub) to the new suites (Immagine also applies to inventor, even if here are indicated more architectural ones), at the only cost of the increase of the sub...
at this point I would make a little thought, if nothing else to save the max sub (see that it is already included in the inventor suites)... and maybe upgrad also to the pro...
certain the page is English (understood as uk) but, the usual "well informed" (read sellers), say that it will be possible to do so here from June.. .

That's why I got inventor. I needed 3ds and I had been in contact with the commercial for a while, so I made the upgrade from mechanical to inventor, among other things in promo, and then have on occasion of the renewal of 2012 the suite that includes 3ds, showcase, schetchbox, etc....
obvious that for an outside as I am it is convenient to have inventor also to enlarge the turn of customers.

Tuesday I was at the presentation of inventor 2012, well, I was "sufficiently" disappointed, in the sense that the greater innovation made or the "racing partner" is obtained by not loading the various modules (vba, etc etc etc etc etc) that will be loaded only when they will be requested by the user: personally it doesn't seem to me a great innovation, because I use sempra vba and so that I will have to wait again after launching inventor, I asked if it was possible to launch it with all the modules (i.e. as it is now with 2011) and the answer was simple: No.
ilogic I do not use it, but it seems to have pushed on that for this realase, fusion, has not changed much, if not the interface with inventor that is more instantaneous.
As for the mini-tools to me they seem a real nonsense put in this state, as they are half and half and do not even work for all commands.

Now we wanted to go to the ribbons... and I continue to argue that double the clicks.
a friend showed me solidedge and it seems faster to me, at least in loading... (I then preferred not to go beyond looking at him because when you choose a tool it's like getting married, because changing would cost you a heritage)
I read that minitools can be customised anyway, so this should compensate for the fact that there are not all the available commands, basically I think that everyone should put the commands he uses most.
that he can't charge automatically and that they told you no fixed personally I wouldn't take it as absolute truth.

to me they said 13 June comes the version in Italian, but they recommend not to install it immediately, because it is better to wait for someone, generously to do as "beta tester" free :biggrin:

have changed the "old suites" and have added 3dstudio with the central suite (normal inventor), while with inventor professional (complete suite) have put in "all", they have not talked however about how much the update will cost. helpful imho is that a new user can also purchase solo inventor at a lower cost of buying the whole suite.

to what my supplier told me, it should be worth for everyone the free passage (for those under sub) to the new suites... who has inventor suite now switches to premium product design, who has pro now, can switch to ultimate pd... but apparently it is not mandatory. . .
all at the cost of the increase of the sub. seems a couple hundred euros extra for the ultimate for those who have now pro.
at this point, for those who already have max, it is more convenient to use only the suite and not to renew the sub of max...
