Hello everyone,
I have long been following the project of construction of the Laodice, and I have noticed that you are all or almost "of the trade" then prepared theoretically and practically and equipped with means of representation that use programs cad unknown to the profane like me.
I would be grateful, therefore, within the limits of time you have, if you could present your drawings and your 3d representations perhaps in pdf, so that we too can enjoy your illuminations and follow the development of the project with images that, most times, are much clearer for those like me, not experts.

those posted until now refer to the realization of the hull, are only images. other files are always placed in exchange formats as each of us uses different software. maxopus uses proes, sampom solidworks and I... little more than the pencil (for now). However as soon as the pictures are ready, it will not be a problem to put them on the forum also in pdf format.

p.s. the ships, even if they bear female names, are always "male". then ship Laodice will be "the Laodice". It is a magazine that often happens to me (if you read above and below the waves you will see that I often called the ships "the...").

The thing is, I'm curious about that weird hull. flat bottom, sided with "double room" with irregular profile, those pints to the knee.. What is it?

to tell the truth it seemed to me a battleship of the Apulian (underwater battle with the decompressor cylinders.. but it is not just like those) type victorious veneto etc.. but the y It is instantaneous, in the 30s I do not remember Italian ships with foreign names (imposed in autartica era).

the ordered join in one point and this point lies on the longitudinal symmetry plane.
the surfaces, which define the two sides, I think they should be collected.

the doubt is about how to tell them.
I have to extend the two surfaces so that the connection ends on the point, or join them at that point and after the connection the excavation will be slightly shorter?

and the fitting that radius must have?
